POLi no longer operates in Australia. This page explains the September 2023 closure, why old casino lists remain online and which current payment alternatives to compare.

Payment methods can change by country and account. “Check cashier” means the method is not consistently confirmed in the sources used.

Explore SpinGrannyPOLi stopped operating in Australia on 30 September 2023. Australian players therefore cannot make a current casino deposit through the service, even though older comparison pages, casino footers and search results may still use the phrase “POLi casinos Australia”.
The service remains associated with New Zealand payments. A casino shown on an international POLi list is not evidence that an Australian account can use it. The live cashier should show a different current method.
POLi began in 2006 as a bank-connected online payment service. It allowed a customer to pay a merchant from online banking without using a card or creating a separate wallet. SecurePay Holdings, an Australia Post subsidiary, acquired the business in 2014.
The method provided fast deposits but did not support withdrawals. Casino winnings therefore needed another payout route from the start.
Payment comparison pages can remain indexed long after a method changes market. Some sites update the year in a title without updating cashier facts. Casino software can also leave an inactive logo in a global footer even when the method is hidden after login.
Look for an explicit Australian availability date, not merely a current copyright year. A list that still instructs Australian users to enter bank credentials through POLi is obsolete.
| Method | Deposit | Withdrawal | Main distinction |
|---|---|---|---|
| PayID | Near-instant | Sometimes | Australian NPP bank transfer |
| Visa debit | Instant | Casino dependent | Familiar card authentication |
| Skrill | Instant | Often fast | Separate verified wallet |
| PayPal | Instant | Often fast | Limited merchant availability |
| Bank transfer | Varies | Common | Higher limits, slower settlement |
PayID is the closest local comparison for fast bank-account funding, but it uses different technology and recipient checks. It should not be described as a renamed version of POLi.
Do not enter bank credentials through an old link. Refresh the cashier, confirm the account country and ask support whether the logo is inactive. If support claims POLi still works in Australia, request the processor name and written payment terms before proceeding.
A current cashier should supply a supported alternative. Do not use a VPN or change account country merely to expose a discontinued method; mismatched location and payment details can create verification problems.
New Zealand availability is a separate topic. POLi deposits can still appear at casinos serving New Zealand, generally as a fast deposit-only route. Users need another withdrawal method and should check bank compatibility, limits and promotion eligibility.
This Australian page does not rank New Zealand casinos. The distinction matters because several competitor lists now show zero results for an Australian location while NZ-focused sources remain active.
An old promotion that required a POLi deposit cannot be activated through another method unless the current terms say so. Substituting PayID or Visa does not automatically preserve eligibility.
Choose a current offer from the live cashier and check its qualifying deposit, wagering, game contribution, maximum stake and expiry. Never send a manual transfer to recreate an expired POLi route.
We do not treat a payment logo as proof that a cashier is useful. Our checks start with account-level availability, then separate the ordinary deposit minimum from the amount required for a promotion. We compare transaction limits, casino-side fees, provider fees, account currency and the route available for a withdrawal.
Speed is measured in two stages: the casino's pending and approval period, then settlement through the payment provider. A fast network cannot compensate for a three-day internal queue. We also check whether the same method must be used in both directions and whether weekends affect processing.
Start with an amount that remains within a fixed entertainment budget. A low minimum controls one transaction only; repeated small transfers can exceed the original plan as easily as one large payment.
First check whether the payment is pending, completed or reversed at the bank or wallet. Compare its reference, time and amount with the casino history. Do not send a duplicate deposit while the first payment is unresolved.
Contact support with the reference and a receipt that hides unrelated financial information. For a withdrawal, include the request time, selected method and KYC status. Keep the conversation in writing and request a case number. Never pay an unexpected “release fee” sent through email or chat; legitimate charges should appear in the published cashier terms.
